A man missing from Sydney's eastern suburbs has been located safe and well.
The 79-year-old man was last seen on Wentworth Street, Vaucluse, about 11.30am yesterday (Monday 8 August 2022).
When he could not be located or contacted, he was reported missing to officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries to locate him.
Following inquiries and a public appeal, the man was located safe and well at Darlinghurst about 3pm today (Tuesday 9 August 2022).
Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance.
