Man rescued after fall on Harbour Bridge

A man has been lowered to safety after falling down a ladder on the Harbour Bridge yesterday.

Police have been told the 52-year-old was on an official group climb with his family when he fell about 10 metres down the ladder, at 6.35pm (Saturday 21 March 2020).

The man suffered head and spinal injuries.

Police Rescue and the NSW Ambulance Special Operations Team treated the man on scene and worked to safely remove him from the bridge.

About 9pm (Saturday 21 March 2020), the man was safely lowered to the ground, before being taken to St Vincent's Hospital in a stable condition.
