Man robbed at Sunshine

Brimbank Embona detectives are hoping to identify two men following an armed robbery in Sunshine last month.

Police have been told the victim was walking with two friends in City Place when they were approached by two unknown men about 2.15am on Wednesday 6 November.

One of the offenders placed the victim in a headlock before making demands for his property while the other offender produced a weapon believed to be a knife.

The offenders assaulted the 24-year-old man before stealing his wallet, mobile phone and jacket.

The two male offenders, described as African in appearance, ran from the scene.

The Sunshine man received minor injuries.

Investigators have released images of two men who they believe can assist with their enquiries.
