Man robbed of car at Tennyson, South Australia

Police are investigating a robbery at Tennyson a short time ago.

Just before 1.30pm, Friday 10 June, the victim was parked near Oarsman Reserve, near a rowing club on Military Road, when he was approached by a man (not known to him) who punched and kicked him before stealing his silver 2004 BMW convertible. The suspect is described as being Caucasian, about 40 years and average build. The victim received minor cuts to his face.

Patrols were quickly on scene and located the BMW dumped nearby in Bournemouth Street. Cordons were set-up around the Tennyson area and a search conducted with assistance of PD Axe and his handler but the suspect was not located.
