Police are investigating after a 46-year-old Tweed Heads man was seriously injured after falling off his bicycle at Coolangatta overnight, Queensland Police say.
Around 7.45pm a man was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital after a report he had fallen off his bicycle at Scott Street.
The man sustained serious head injuries as a result of the incident and is in a critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
