Man shot in Clyde

A police operation is underway at Clyde after reports a man was shot.

Police were called to Berry Street just before 5pm today (Monday 7 January 2019), and found a man suffering a gunshot wound to his foot.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command established a crime scene.

The man was treated by paramedics and taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.

Three men have been arrested, with two treated for facial injuries.

Inquiries are continuing.
