Police are investigating a serious assault at Coorong this morning.
Just after 3am Tuesday 21 September police and paramedics were called to a licenced premises on the Princes Highway after reports of a violent altercation between two men.
When emergency services arrived they located the victim with stab wounds to his body. He was transported to the local hospital with serious injuries. The suspect had left the scene prior to police arrival.
The suspect is believed to be known to the victim. The investigation remains on going.
