Man stabbed at Elizabeth Downs

Police are investigating after a man was stabbed at Elizabeth Downs last night.

Police and paramedics were called to Justinian Street, Elizabeth Downs just before 10pm on Sunday 17 September by reports a person had been stabbed during a large disturbance.

When emergency services arrived, they located a 30-year-old man with injuries to his chest and arm.

The Andrews Farm man was taken by ambulance to the Royal Adelaide Hospital and straight into surgery. His injuries are considered life-threatening.

Northern District CIB detectives and crime scene investigators attended and examined the scene and doorknocked the area.

Investigations are continuing.
