Man stabbed at Huntfield Heights, South Australia

A man is in hospital following a serious assault overnight in Huntfield Heights.

Just after 1.30am on Monday 6 September, patrols and paramedics were called to Sherry Court, after reports of a man having been stabbed.

On arrival, police located the 65-year-old victim who had a stab wound to his neck following an altercation with a man he had met earlier in the day. The suspect left prior to police attending and the victim was taken to the Flinders Medical Centre in a serious but stable condition. He is described as being Caucasian, aged between 30-40 years, about 180cm tall with short dark hair and wearing jeans and a jacket.
