Man stabbed at Kilburn overnight, South Australia

A man is in hospital after an alleged assault at Kilburn.

Just before 3.30am on Wednesday 1 July, patrols and paramedics were called to the intersection of Northcote Terrace and Prospect Road after a report of a group fighting.

On arrival, police located the victim at the intersection with several stab wounds to his chest. He was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital and his injuries are not considered to be life threatening.

A search of the area with the assistance of Police Dog Zac failed to locate the suspect who is believed known to the victim.
