Man stabbed during fight, NSW

A man is undergoing surgery after a stabbing in Sydney’s south west, NSW Police say.

About 3am (Sunday 11 November 2018) two groups of people became involved in an altercation on Soldiers Parade, Edmondson Park.

A third vehicle arrived, with the occupants also joining the melee.

During the incident a Range Rover rammed a Toyota Tarago, before leaving the scene.

One man was stabbed multiple times, suffering a punctured lung. He is in surgery at Liverpool Hospital. His condition is not known at this stage.

Two other men suffered less serious injuries and were also taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment.

Officers are speaking to witnesses and a crime scene has been established, which is being forensically examined.

Inquiries continue, no arrests have yet been made.
