Police are investigating after a home invasion in Sydney’s east, during which a man was stabbed, NSW Police say.
Just after 3am (Sunday 9 September 2018), emergency services were called to a home on Holloway Street, Pagewood, after reports a man had been stabbed.
A 48-year-old man was found suffering multiple stab wounds.
He was treated by paramedics before being taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.
Police have been told three people had forced entry to the home, stabbing the man and assaulting a 16-year-old boy, who suffered minor injuries
Officers from Botany Bay Police Area Command, with assistance from the Dog Unit, are conducting an extensive search of the area.
Inquiries are continuing.
