Man stabbed following brawl near Blue Mountains, NSW

Investigations are underway after a man was stabbed following a brawl near the Blue Mountains.

Shortly after 12.15am (Saturday 9 February 2019), emergency services were called to a service station on the Great Western Highway, near Oatlands Road, Hazelbrook, following reports a man was injured.

Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command attended and found a 28-year-old man from Hazelbrook, with a stab wound to his abdomen.

The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Nepean Hospital for treatment.

As inquiries continue, anyone with information is urged to come forward.

No arrests have been made at this time.
