Police are investigating after a man presented at Fairfield Hospital suffering multiple stab wounds last night, NSW Police say.
Shortly after midnight today, a 25-year-old man walked into Fairfield Hospital suffering three stab wounds to his chest.
He was treated before being transferred to Liverpool Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Detectives from Cabramatta commenced an investigation and established a crime scene at a home on Stafford Street, Cabramatta, where the 25-year-old lives with a woman.
The woman is assisting police with their investigation as inquiries continue.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
