Police are investigating a stabbing in Rockdale, NSW Police say.
About 5.45pm today, a 48-year-old man was stabbed in the buttocks after answering the door at his home on Rawson Street, Rockdale.
Police St George Local Area Command and Ambulance Paramedics attended.
The man was taken to St George Hospital for treatment to the non-life threatening injury.
A crime scene has been established and inquiries are continuing.
No further information is available at this stage.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
