Detectives from Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit are investigating following a stabbing in Springvale last night, Victoria Police say.
Emergency services were called to a property in Elm Grove just after 11.30pm following reports a man was stabbed.
The 29-year-old was transported to hospital after receiving a number of stab wounds.
Police are keen to speak to the victim’s next of kin as he is in a critical condition.
It is believed the victim is of Malaysian descent.
Police believe the parties are known to each other. No arrests have been made.
