Man stabbed on bus in city, South Australia

Police are investigating a stabbing on a bus in the city this afternoon.

Police and paramedics responded to reports of a violent altercation near Hindmarsh Square, Adelaide just before 1pm on Monday 20 December.

An 18-year-old man was found with multiple knife wounds and was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Fortunately, his injuries, although serious, are not considered life threatening.

The incident had occurred on a bus travelling west along Grenfell Street.

Police are currently looking for two suspects who departed the bus in the city.
