A crime scene has been established after a man was stabbed in Liverpool tonight, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to Macquarie Street, near Moore Street, Liverpool, about 1.20am (Tuesday 20 March 2018) following reports that a man had been stabbed.
On arrival officers located a man suffering a stab wound to his back.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital. His injury in not considered life-threatening.
Detectives from Liverpool Police Area Command attended the crime scene and have commenced an investigation.
