Man to appear in court after drug arrest - Pagewood

A man will face court later this month after being charged with multiple drug offences yesterday.

About 2pm (Tuesday 31 December 2019), a 21-year-old man was stopped by police for random testing on Heffron Road in Pagewood.

He was arrested after allegedly returning a positive roadside reading for cocaine and taken for secondary testing in the on-site bus.

Officers also searched his vehicle and discovered 37 bags of cocaine, weighing 27.39g, and cash, allegedly hidden in a compartment. The estimated potential street value of the drugs is $10,000.

The 21-year-old man was charged with supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug and goods in custody.

He was refused bail to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on Friday 24 January 2020.
