A man and two juveniles have been charged as part of ongoing investigations into a string of violent offences across Sydney's west and south west this month.
Following information received, officers from Blacktown Proactive Crime Team and Blacktown detectives attended a home at Quakers Hill and arrested two male youths – aged 13 and 16 – and an 18-year-old man about 8.30pm yesterday (Friday 23 April 2021).
They were all taken to Blacktown Police Station where the 13-year-old boy was charged with aggravated take/drive motor vehicle with person in/on it-armed with weapon, destroy or damage property, breach of bail, robbery armed with offensive weapon, assault with intent to rob in company, and two counts of armed with intent to commit indictable offence.
Police will allege in court that the teen was involved in an armed robbery at Pendle Hill on Monday 19 April 2021, a car theft at Seven Hills on Tuesday 20 April 2021, a robbery at a Greystanes service station on Wednesday 21 April, an armed robbery at Westmead Railway Station on Thursday 22 April 2021 and a malicious damage incident at a Quakers Hill shopping centre yesterday (Friday 23 April 2021).
The 16-year-old youth was charged with breach of bail.
They were both refused bail to appear at Parramatta Children's Court today (Saturday 24 April 2021).
The 18-year-old Quakers Hill man was charged with enter vehicle without consent of owner, attempted larceny, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and breach of bail.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court today.
