Man wanted for break and enter offence arrested in Bourke

A man will face court today after he was arrested in relation to a break in of a rural property near Dubb, NSW Police sayo

Between 3.30pm and 9.15pm on Thursday 25 August 2016, five firearms and an amount of ammunition was stolen from a property on West Mialla Road, Balladoran, about 66km north of Dubbo.

The matter was reported to police who commenced investigations.

Following ongoing inquiries, officers arrested three men in relation to the incident.

About 1.10pm yesterday, police attended an address in Becker Street, Bourke, and arrested a fourth man.

The 26-year-old was subsequently taken Bourke Police Station where he charged with aggravated break, enter and steal and unrelated warrant matters.

He was refused bail and will appear in Bourke Local Court today.
