Man wanted on arrest warrant - Oxley Police District

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a Queensland man wanted on a warrant.

Richard Johnstone, aged 44, is wanted by virtue of an arrest warrant in relation to fraudulent offences alleged to have occurred in the state's north east in September 2018.

Officers attached to the NSW Police Force - Rural Crime Prevention Team (RCPT) will allege the man defrauded two victims in relation to loads of hay that were never delivered to properties near Tamworth.

He is known to use several aliases including Richard Paulsen, Richard Johnstone, Mark McCaw, Mark Paulsen, and Mark Johnstone.

Officers believe the man frequents the Queensland towns of Greenbank, Woodhill and Browns Plains.

As officers from the RCPT continue to conduct inquiries into his whereabouts, they are urging anyone who may have information to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
