Police are seeking public assistance to locate a man wanted on an outstanding warrant in Sydney's south west.
Mahmoud Shahrouk, aged 50, is wanted on an outstanding conviction warrant for stealing.
Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command have been conducting inquiries into his whereabouts and are now appealing for public assistance.
Mahmoud is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 165cm to 170cm tall, of thin build with short dark hair and brown eyes.
He is known to reside in Granville and is believed to frequent the Fairfield area.
Anyone who has information about his whereabouts is urged not to approach him and to contact Triple Zero (000) or Crime Stoppers.
