Man with gunshot injury, South Australia

Police are investigating an incident overnight after a man presented at hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg.

Just after 11.30pm on Sunday 30 December, police attended the Flinders Medical Centre after a 30-year-old man admitted himself to the casualty section with a gunshot wound to the left calf.

The injured man originally stated the incident occurred at Parkside, however police were unable to locate a crime scene.

Eastern Adelaide Detectives have spoken with the injured man at length but he refuses to cooperate with police and provide adequate details of what occurred.

The incident is not considered random and the injury is not considering life-threatening.
