Police will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner after the discovery of a man’s body at Murwillumbah yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 11.30am on Friday 16 December 2016, staff at a hotel on Tweed Valley Way entered a room and discovered a deceased male.
Emergency services were notified and officers from Tweed/Byron Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
Investigators believe the deceased to be a 59-year-old man who was last seen by staff on Monday 12 December.
A post mortem will be conducted to assist investigators determine how the man died.
Officers will prepare a report for the Coroner outlining the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
