Renowned leadership expert and host of the No Bullsh!t Leadership podcast, Martin G. Moore, will headline this year's Accelerate Manufacturing Conference as the keynote speaker.

The fifth annual instalment of Council's Accelerate Manufacturing Conference returns to the Western Downs on Wednesday 25 March at the Dalby Events Centre, offering a unique and practical learning experience tailored to local manufacturers.

Western Downs Regional Council Spokesperson for Business Strategy and Economic Development Councillor Megan James said it was a privilege to have one of Australia's foremost leadership experts and founder of Your CEO Mentor, Martin G. Moore, headlining the 2026 Conference.

"The 2026 Accelerate Manufacturing Conference program is shaping up to be the best yet and Council is thrilled to announce that Martin G. Moore will be attending live and in person as this year's keynote speaker," Cr James said.

"His session promises to be both inspiring and practical, equipping attendees with real-world strategies to tackle today's manufacturing challenges.

"As the former CEO of CS Energy, Martin will be drawing on decades of experience to offer Western Downs manufacturers invaluable takeaways to spark innovation and growth.

"His presence promises to deliver a unique and practical learning experience tailored to local manufacturers, equipping them with leadership skills that can be applied from the factory floor right through to the boardroom."

Cr James said the 2026 Accelerate Manufacturing Conference will be delivered by Western Downs Regional Council, partnering with the Queensland Manufacturing Institute for a Pre-Conference Networking event on Tuesday 24 March.

"The program features a line-up of expert panellists discussing topics such as unlocking supply chain opportunities, streamlining operations with digital technology, and exploring funding pathways for business growth," she said.

"In our region, almost 150 local manufacturing businesses employ over 1,200 people, and this year's Accelerate Manufacturing Program has topics that appeal to every single one of them.

"Manufacturing is a major economic pillar, adding over $130 million to our local economy annually; this event offers invaluable networking and knowledge-sharing for all attendees."

Set to run from 8:15am to 3:15pm, the ticketed event has early bird pricing for the month of February at just $60 per person.

Every ticket comes with complimentary entry to the Pre Conference Networking Event on Tuesday 24 March at 5.30pm to 8.30pm, giving attendees more opportunities to build connections.
