Marayong teen charged with stealing offences - Strike Force Arpen

A teenager has been charged with stealing offences following ongoing investigations by Strike Force Arpen.

About 4.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 30 July 2019), officers attached to Strike Force Arpen attended a home in Marayong, and arrested a 16-year-old boy.

He was taken to Blacktown Police Station and charged with participate in criminal group/contribute criminal activity and four counts of stealing.

The teenager was granted bail to appear at a Children's Court on Friday 23 August 2019.

Strike Force Arpen was established in June 2019 to investigate a spate of stealing offences across the Sydney metropolitan area. The strike force is made up of officers from North West, South West and Central Metropolitan Region Commands and State Crime Command's Criminal Groups Squad.
