Marine incident, Chandler

Police are investigating a marine incident at Tingalpa Creek in Chandler, where a jet ski and boat collided just after midday today (October 15).

Six people were involved in the incident, including four people on the boat (two adults and two children), and two further adults on the jet ski.

A man and boy on the boat were seriously injured in the crash and have been transported to hospital in critical conditions.

Two other people on the boat (another adult and child) were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The two people on the jet ski were not injured.

Redland Bay water police are investigating, with the assistance of Forensic Crash Unit.
