Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Laverton woman Mary.
The 79-year-old was last seen on Paisley Street in Footscray about 11am today.
Police and family hold concerns for Mary as she has a medical condition which requires regular medication.
Mary is believed to be on foot and is known to catch public transport.
An image of Mary has been released in the hope someone can provide information about her current whereabouts.
She is described as having a thin build, grey shoulder-length hair and blue eyes.
Anyone who sees Mary is urged to call Footscray Police Station on 8398 9800.
