Maryborough jewellery store burg

Detectives from Central Goldfields Crime Investigation Unit are investigating following a burglary at a Maryborough jewellery shop on Tuesday.

Investigators believe two unknown offenders smashed a window of the High Street business just after 10.50pm on 21 April.

Once inside the offender smashed a number of glass display cabinets and grabbed an unknown quantity of jewellery before fleeing.

Police have released CCTV images of a dark coloured sedan they believe the offenders used during the incident.

Investigators are also hoping to identify the driver of a white van that drove past the sedan in the hope they may have witnessed the incident.
