Masks and sanitisers available for Ballina Shire community - New distribution dates

Ballina Shire Council has organised another distribution of face masks, sanitisers and wipes this week.

The supplies, provided by NSW Health, are for community organisations, public transport operators, retail and essential businesses that remain open under the current public health order.

A collection point has been established at the Ballina Indoor Sports Centre carpark. Supplies will be distributed from a Ballina Shire Council van outside the indoor sports centre and community facilities staff will oversee the contactless distribution process.

The supplies will be available for collection on Wednesday 25 August, and Thursday 26 August from 9am – 11am, at the Ballina Indoor Sports Centre, 63 Cherry Street.

The following customer limits are in place: two boxes of masks, two bottles of sanitizer (500ml) and one pack of wipes per operator.

The distribution period may be further extended depending on the supplies available.
