At approximately 4:50pm on 22 September 2016 emergency services were advised of a 71 year old female from Victoria who had fallen whilst on a day walk in the Cradle Mountain area, Tasmania Police say.
During the fall she has sustained a suspected broken wrist along with minor head and neck injuries.
The female was rescued from a location nearby the peak of Marion’s Lookout by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
She will receive further medical attention at the North West Regional Hospital.
