Members of Bandidos OMCG arrested for multiple offences in Albury

Members of the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) have been charged with drug supply offences as part of an ongoing investigation into criminal activity in Albury, NSW Police say.

Detectives from Albury Local Area Command established Strike Force Stoutland to investigate the manufacture and supply of prohibited drugs and a number of organised criminal associates within the Albury area.

Police will allege their inquiries revealed a significant drug supply network, which included a number of organised criminal groups.

On Wednesday 6 December 2017, strike force investigators arrested two men – aged 34, 66 and a 26-year-old woman who were taken to Albury Police Station.

Shortly after the arrests, strike force detectives executed a search warrant at North Albury.

The 34-year-old man who is a member of the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) was charged with five counts of supply prohibited drug, two counts of offer to supply prohibited drug, knowingly take part in the supply of prohibited drug, two counts of fraud, and participate in a criminal group to contribute criminal activity.

The 66-year-old man was charged with participate in a criminal group, six counts of agree to supply a prohibited drug, three counts of supply prohibited drug, and knowingly take part of supply prohibited drug,

The 26-year-old woman was charged take part supply prohibited drug greater indictable quantity, supply recklessly deal with proceeds of crime, use false document to obtain property, and participate in a criminal group to contribute criminal activity.

Police arrested the 26-year-old man who is a member the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang (OMCG) in Wangaratta Victoria and extradited to Albury NSW where he was charged with dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception, deal with identity information with intent to commit an indictable offence, deal with identity information with intent to commit an indictable offence, use false document to obtain property and participate in a criminal group to contribute criminal activity.

All persons have been refused bail to appear at Albury Local Court today, Wednesday 6 December 2017.

Investigations are continuing and further arrests are expected.
