Men arrested following break and enters - Liverpool, Macquarie Fields, Campbelltown and Camden Local Area Commands, NSW

Police have arrested and charged two men in relation to multiple break and enters within the Liverpool, Macquarie Fields, Campbelltown and Camden Local Area Commands, NSW Police say.

Since August, 2017 a number of break enter and steal offences occurred in the suburbs of Gregory Hills, Gledswood Hills, Edmondson Park, Prestons, Bardi and Glenfield.

On Thursday 18 October 2017, police were patrolling Queen Street, Narellan where they saw a Honda Civic allegedly involved in a number of break, enter and steal offences.

Police stopped and searched the vehicle where a number of items police will allege had been stolen were located and seized.

Both men aged, 24 and 37 were arrested at the scene and taken to Narellan Police Station.

The 24-year-old man was charged with attempt break, enter and steal, break enter with intent to steal, aggravated break enter with intent to steal in company, larceny, break, enter and steal, and three counts of disqualified driving.

The 37-year-old man was charged with three counts of unlicensed driving, break and enter with intent to steal, aggravated break, enter with intent to steal in company, and break, enter and steal.

Both men were refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court tomorrow.
