Mentone theft and deceptions

Kingston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following a theft and subsequent deception in Mentone last month.

Investigators have been told an unknown male offender stole a wallet from a vehicle parked in Condor Way sometime overnight on Monday 12 August.

Later that morning, credit cards from the stolen wallet were used to make purchases from a fast food restaurant and service stations in the local area.

Detectives have released images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, aged in his 20s, with a medium build, fair complexion and unshaven facial hair.
