Following a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to qualified consultants to undertake the development of the 2022 - 2025 Dungog Shire Cultural Plan, Dungog Shire Council has appointed a successful consultant.
Newcastle-based agency, The Creative Ingredient, has been awarded the opportunity to develop the shire's Cultural Plan, which will guide the development of artistic and cultural offerings for council and the community over the next four years.
The Creative Ingredient will also lead the consultation process throughout the plan's development and their wide artistic, creative and cultural network will underpin the formulation of a Plan that both supports and showcases quality cultural offerings across Dungog Shire.
As the next stage in this process, council is now seeking nominations from interested community members to be part of an Advisory Committee to contribute to the Plan's development.
Council is seeking representation from creative and cultural experts across all parts of the shire, including Indigenous representatives, and those with a background in the arts and cultural arenas.
