Message from General Manager 5 November

As announced earlier this week, the NSW Government will ease COVID-19 restrictions for anyone fully vaccinated on Monday 8 November.

This means:

  • No limit on visitors to a home;
  • No rules for outdoor gatherings with fewer than 1000 people;
  • Businesses will move to a 1 person per 2 square metre rule; and
  • Density limits replace caps, except for gym and dance classes, which are still limited to 20 people.

These updates will apply to fully vaccinated people only, with anyone else over the age of 16 not able to enjoy these increased freedoms until 95% of people in NSW are fully vaccinated or 15 December, whichever happens first.

Masks, COVID-safe check-ins and proof of vaccination will still be required by everyone during this time.

To find out full details, visit the NSW Government's COVID-19 website.

These changes will impact some council services.

Dungog Library will revert to normal operating hours from Monday. These are:

  • Monday to Friday: 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm.
  • Saturday: 9.30am - 12noon.
  • Sunday: CLOSED.

All existing COVID-19 restrictions at the library will remain in place, including:

  • Masks, sanitiser and QR code check-in is required to enter the premises.
  • Limitations on time and numbers will remain due to space restrictions.
  • Proof of vaccination must be shown prior to entry.

'Call and Collect' will remain operating for any customers not yet fully vaccinated.
