This fortnightly update is a guide to MidCoast Council roadworks and maintenance projects that are ongoing or scheduled to take place over the next two weeks. With wet weather about, there may be changes to the works program, with delayed starts on some works.
Drivers may experience minor traffic delays at some of these locations.
The pothole patching crew are scheduled to be at the following locations; The Lakes Way, Bulahdelah Streets, Forster streets, Wingham Streets, Comboyne Road, Upper Lansdowne Road, Coopernook, The Bucketts Way, Hannamvale, Stewarts River, Taree Streets, Various sites across Gloucester (The Bucketts Way East/West and Thunderbolts Way).
General maintenance work will take place at the following locations; Gortons Bridge – Signs replacement and approaches, Pipeline repairs Martin Cct (Tea Gardens), Clear surface pits in Tea Gardens, Footpath repairs Isabella Pde (Forster), Reseal program - various locations, Footpath repairs, Pit and Pipe repairs Taree, Street Sweeping, Signage, Stoney Creek Bridge.
Roadside vegetation management will occur at the following locations; The Bucketts Way (Stroud), The Bucketts Way, Miss Careys Road, Comboyne Rd.
Maintenance grading of unsealed roads will be undertaken at the following locations, Curreeki Ck Rd, Coolongolook streets, Locketts Crossing Rd, Mill Creek Rd, Johnsons Creek Rd, Terreel Rd, Minimbah Rd Area, Fords Road, Jules Mountain Road, Possum Brush Road, Hillville Road, Little Run Road, Big Run Road, Yarratt Road, Caparra Road.
Construction projects coming up include; Upper Myall Rd – De-establishment and drainage protection works, Crawford St reseal prep, Prince St reseal prep, Gravel resheets in Monkerai area, Redhead Rd Roundabout – drainage works and excavation, Drainage works Cape Hawke, Kolinda Drive Old Bar – Reconstruction, Lansdowne Road Segment 240, Bushland Drive Taree reconstruction (Lawson Crescent to North Street) tidy up, The Bucketts Way Krambach – Reconstruction
Natural disaster work taking place includes; Booral Rd Heavy Patches, Myall River Road, The Branch Lane Heavy Patches, Heavy Patches Myall Way Scone Road Landslip, Thunderbolts Way Leslie's Bridge Northern abutment, Thunderbolts Way landslip repairs north of Giro, Manchester Road, Showground Road, Barrington East Road, Khatambuhl Creek Road, Berrrico Creek causeway, Falklands Road sink hole, Giro Road, The Bucketts Way drainage, Bootawa Road, Bootawa Dam Road.
