Mile End pharmacy robbery, South Australia

Police are investigating following an aggravated robbery at a Mile End robbery this afternoon.

Just after 3pm on Wednesday 29 June, police were called to a pharmacy on South Road at Mile End after reports a man armed with a meat cleaver threatened staff and stole prescription drugs.

The offender left on a pushbike and was last seen heading west on Tarragon Street.

Thankfully, no one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 20s. He was wearing grey coloured tracksuit pants, a green woolen jumper, dark coloured shoes and a black cap with a surgical mask. He was carrying a black backpack and riding a grey bicycle and wearing a purple helmet.

Police patrols are currently searching the area with the assistance of Dog Operations Unit.
