Missing 11yo girl in Kirwan, QLD

Update August 19 – the missing girl has been located safe and well. Her picture has been removed from the below release, Queensland Police say.

Townsville Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate an 11-year-old girl missing in Kirwan.

The girl was last seen around 6.15pm tonight (Saturday, August 18) in Hinchinbrook Drive.

Anyone who may have seen the girl or has any information in relation to her current whereabouts is urged to contact police (details below).

The Aboriginal girl is approximately 140cms tall with a slim build and brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing leopard print tights and a blue, pink and white button-up shirt.

Concerns are held for her well-being and safety due to her age.
