Missing 16-year-old girl at Nambour

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 16-year-old girl reported missing from Nambour.

The girl (pictured) was last seen in Carroll Street around 3pm on October 14 and has not been seen since.

Police hold concerns for her welfare as this behaviour is out of character.

The girl is described as approximately 168cm tall, with a dark complexion, proportionate build, long black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing her school uniform which is light blue coloured blouse, yellow and black tie, navy blue skirt and she is believed to be carrying a light blue backpack.

Anyone with information about the girl's location is urged to contact police.
