Police are searching for a missing 79-year-old man and are seeking public assistance.
Alexander Purdon was last seen leaving a residence on Sails Court at Jacobs Well around 9pm last night.
He was travelling in a black Toyota Corolla with Queensland registration, 731 LEQ. It is believed he may still be around Jacobs Well, however could have travelled anywhere between Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Police and Alexander's family have serious concerns for his welfare, due to a medical condition.
He is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 165cm tall and of a medium build. He has short grey hair and a bowed right leg. Alexander was last seen wearing a t-shirt and jeans.
Police are asking the public to check properties and roads around their local area to help find Alexander.
