A teen reported missing from the Bankstown area has been located safe.
The 13-year-old boy was last seen at a bus stop on The Mall, in Bankstown CBD about 5.30pm today (Tuesday 15 August 2023).
When he could not be located, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced an immediate search around the area.
Following inquiries and a geotargeted message, the teen was located safe in the Burwood area this evening (Tuesday 15 August 2023).
Police would like to thank the community and the media for their assistance.
