Police have found a woman missing from the Far North Coast safe and well.
The 42-year-old woman failed to return home from a beach walk at Hastings Point about 7.30pm yesterday (Sunday 27 December 2020).
She was reported missing to officers from Tweed/Byron Police District, who commenced inquiries to locate her.
Following a public appeal, she was found safe and well at Brunswick Heads just before 4pm today (Monday 28 December 2020).
Police thank the media and the community for their assistance.
