A body has been recovered by police searching for a man missing in Sydney's south.
Officers from Sutherland Shire Police Area Command have been conducting inquiries to locate an 85-year-old man, who was last seen leaving a home on Como Parade, Como on Thursday 20 August 2020.
About 8.30am today (Friday 21 August 2020), the body of a man was found in mangroves in Georges River.
The body was recovered and while it is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of the missing man.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
