Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 48-year-old Kevin McCartney.
Kevin was last seen at The Alfred hospital on 5 February about 3.30pm.
Police have concerns for Kevin's welfare due to a medical condition.
Kevin is described as having blue eyes, sandy grey hair, was tanned and unshaven when he was last seen.
He was last seen wearing a long sleeved button up blue and pink-coloured shirt, dark grey jeans, lavender sports shoes and carrying a white plastic bag full of clothing.
He is known to frequent the Preston, St Kilda and Melbourne CBD areas.
Police have released an image of Kevin in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.
