A man reported missing from the Blue Mountains area has today been located safe and well.
The 22-year-old was last seen leaving a hotel in Katoomba on Tuesday (21 September 2021).
Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries.
The man was located about 4.30am (Friday 24 September 2021) at Waterfall Railway Station, in Sydney's south, after rail staff recognised him from NSW Police Force social media posts.
