Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Mulgrave man Ilias.
The 79-year-old was reported missing after he did not return to his Andover Court home after going for a walk about 12.30pm this afternoon.
Police and family hold concerns for Ilias's welfare as he suffers from dementia.
Ilias has an olive complexion, grey hair which is partially balding and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a black and white striped shirt, blue jeans, black walking shoes and does not have any personal belongings with him.
Police believe Ilias is travelling on foot and it is unlikely he would be using public transport.
A photo of Ilias has been released in the hope that it may lead to information on his current whereabouts.
Police believe Ilias could be in the Doncaster or Braeside areas.
