Missing Persons Week 2019 - Missing Person Paul Rushworth

As part of this year's Missing Persons Week, police are renewing their appeal to help locate a man who went missing from Sydney's CBD in 2013.

Paul Rushworth, aged 46, was last seen when he left his home on Boronia Street, Redfern, about 7am on Friday 13 September 2013.

About an hour later, Mr Rushworth called home from Wynyard Railway Station and said he was catching a train to the Blue Mountains.

When he failed to return home that evening as planned, he was reported missing to police.

He has not been seen or heard from since.

Detectives from South Sydney Police Area Command are continuing their investigation into Mr Rushworth's disappearance, however all inquiries have failed to find him.

Mr Rushworth is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall and of a thin build, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a red/maroon shirt with a brown and cream-coloured horizontal stripe shirt, and brown walking shoes.
