Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Roxburgh Park teenager Zahra.
The 13-year-old was last seen in the Broadmeadows area about 10am on 8 January.
Police have been told Zahra may be heading to South Australia.
Zahra is approximately 160cm tall with a slim build and dark black hair.
She was last seen wearing a light grey t-shirt, light grey tracksuit pants with a black stripe down the side, a black backpack and carrying a yellow shopping bag.
Police hold concerns for her welfare due to her young age.
Images of Zahra which show the clothes she was wearing at the time she went missing have been released in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information regarding her current whereabouts.
